When people find themselves stressed and overwhelmed, they may hit the gym, sit down and watch a movie, or take a nice relaxing bath. For Tena and her husband, they turned to home renovation.
In 2017, they began the hunt for the perfect fixer upper. They quickly realized that these kinds of homes may be tricky to purchase and they needed help. They needed experienced professionals to ensure they were getting a good deal.

From then on, Tena and her husband were hooked. Together with Inland Capital, they found the perfect house in a quaint neighborhood in the Spokane Valley, just off Argonne. It had its issues and was considered a nuisance house by many of its neighbors. No one thought it would get better.
“We purchased that house about a year ago and we completely stripped the house down to the studs.” Tena remembered. “We gutted it and turned an almost unlivable two bedroom, one and a half bath house into a three bedroom, two bath home.”
They even installed a brand new furnace, converted the house from electric to gas, put all new windows in, and hooked it up to a brand new sewer system. When they listed the house almost a year later, it sold for more than the asking price on the very first day. “We made a new family very happy.” Tena said with a bit of admiration and pride.
“If a company has integrity and heart, that means the most to me. I don’t care how many benefits and offers they have.”
Tena and her husband didn’t stop there. They were so happy with the whole process that they went on to purchase another property in Greenacres through Inland Capital.

In the next 3-6 months, Tena and her husband will be working to sell another home to another deserving family and they’ll turn to Inland Capital for continued help through their home renovation journey.
“I almost don’t want to say too much because more people will use Inland Capital and they’ll get too busy for me,” Tena laughed. “They’re so easy and I want them all for myself!”
